Aurora
Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1996 from Stavanger) is an Norwegian artist and vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by Decca Records Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise from bloggers as well as the media. Half the World Away from Oasis was released by the group Oasis was made for an advertisement of John Lewis, and Nature Boy is a Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry posted a video that she supported Runaway. It earned her some attention. It was her birthday celebration. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory was of discovering a piano in her attic and being awed by the sound it could create. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes urged her to pursue music for the sake of personal development, and not for the purpose of making money or to pursue an interest. She began to write writing her own songs. She credits renowned composers Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in her influences, along with a love for Bjork's style. After her mom informed her that her music would not just help her achieve fame but also make others see their importance within the global community and see the possibilities for them She decided to start singing in public. She was suggested by her mother to be able to perform her music publicly in order so that people can see their own importance and how they can affect the world. Her family didn't have any idea about it until she was fourteen. Aurora had no idea of becoming a star. The singer claims she is a fan of creating songs. To her music, it is the most efficient way to express anything.
