Aurora
Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. Professionally known as Aurora and sometimes stylized with uppercase letters in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, released in May 2015 by Decca Records to great approval from music journalists and media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are just two of the artist's high-profile recordings. Katy Perry's support for her song Runaway on her blog added to the musician's recognition. Enjoy the celebration of this special event. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is of finding a piano in her attic and becoming enthralled by the sounds it would make. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music not to get an income or as a pastime, but as an opportunity to develop. For this reason, she began writing original compositions. She credits renowned composers Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan for inspiration, as well as an affinity for Bjork's style. In response to her mother's advice that her children should not be aiming to become famous with the songs she writes, but rather realize the importance of themselves as well as their contribution to society. Her mother suggested that she be able to perform her music publicly in order in order to make people aware of the importance of their work and how they can affect the world. Her family didn't know about this until she was fourteen. Aurora did not have a set goal. She claims that she simply loves writing music. She believes music can make any person feel better.
